I'll be disciplined today at lifedrawing not putting down a line before having written down the words. It takes a bit of mental effort :). Personally, I'm trying to name the thoughts or feelings the model is having, like "I hope she comes home soon" or "What, a magic frog?!" etc. Thanks a million for sharing! :DJohannes Helgesonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947081372559071953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16895833.post-76416487633135713232011-09-19T08:03:28.520-04:002011-09-19T08:03:28.520-04:00Johnannes, thanks.. as for magic tricks.. hmmm... ...Johnannes, thanks.. as for magic tricks.. hmmm... honestly i still struggle with it myself.. a couple simple things I've been trying to do is think of a couple of words before putting any lines on paper, just trying to get more and more specific with it.. usually a combination of an emotion + action.. (ex. walking angry, reading aloof) (I've been writing some of these on the page.) also lately I've been trying to rough in the whole action of the body..even if I'm drawing within an enclosed space... far from magic.. but those are two things I'm practicing at the moment.chromasketchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05547982158467508511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16895833.post-10445166339413565782011-09-18T10:46:43.256-04:002011-09-18T10:46:43.256-04:00Ahhhhh, you're sketches always make me drool! ...Ahhhhh, you're sketches always make me drool!
