hey brian. nice sketches. i like the guy sticking his head out on the bottom page. the third page is really nice, too. how big do you work? are these in a small sketchbook? there must be tons of cool places to sketch in hong kong.

willipino> Hey thanks man, just drawing, drawing whenever I can. Making an effort to learn. My current sketchbook is a little smaller than the one i had before.. the size is B5 I think.. so that's around.. 7 3/16 x 10 1/16 inches. The drawings are tiny.. like.. 1.5 inches to 3 inches tall. Hmm.. HK isn't very sketch friendly though I'm afraid.. there are very few places to sit.. In the mornings I was lucky to find a bench in this fancy mall, that is directly facing a bus stop as well a an escalator. So there's a lot of business people "traffic" walking about in the morning. That's why a lot of my gestures involve people standing around waiting. In the evenings I do a bit of drawing on the tram, it's harder there.. cause the tram ride is quite bumpy.

Bobby> Call it my drawing workout, if you will. haha I think drawing for fun, is waaaaay more fun than drawing for work.. less pressure to do a "spectacular" drawing...
